We're backing up a ways here but this photo was taken by a mini tripod at about 7800 ft. in the Elk Horn Mountains of Eastern Oregon. My Uncle Bob, Cousin Sam, buddy Phillip and I hunted about an hour from the nearest town (Baker) near the Idaho border. We hiked 3 miles from the car to this pond which we drank out of. It was a great 4 nights of tent camping. We never shot any elk but there is no better feeling than the fresh air of Oregon to set you free.
