We spent Good Friday at a special service with my Uncle Brian and Aunt Michelle's church in Severna Park, MD. It was a special communion service which involved familes coming forward to receive the elements individually before this cross. Alyssa watched us as we explained to her that this is how we celebrate Easter. It was a very moving service and challenged us to remember that we killed Christ with our sin, but our sin also died on the cross with Him.
