Ever since the writer's strike there is nothing to watch on TV. Even still, we've filled many nights with Col. Klink and Sgt. Schultz. Hogan's Heroes is my favorite all time TV show and now Alyssa loves it too. We're going through the DVD sets together. She doesn't get any of the Nazi jokes, but she will say, "I like that one." During the character introductions in the open. Amazing how a show like this can span 3 generations of viewing. It is embarassing to admit that much of what I know about WWII I learned from this show. The SS, Gestapo, Luftwafe, Russian Front, Vermacht...you can learn all the different divisions of the German Army from this show.
